English Walnut Dresser

A commission for a shaker inspired dresser in English Walnut from the client’s own tree that they had milled and had drying for several years. We had to work pretty hard to cut enough usable timber out of the available sawn planks, avoiding sapwood, shakes and gnarly knots.
The final piece is simple in it’s design, but has an incredibly rich and characterful grain.
